I am a planner, organizer, creative, empathetic worker, and occasionally a leader. I love getting to know others, helping people, and creating something new. I believe that design gives us the opportunity not just to show people something or something to use/do, but to also help communities and show others the chance to help and better themselves and community.

I completed a masters in interaction design at NTNU in Gjøvik and I received my bachelors of science in visual design and web design from California State University Monterey Bay in May 2017. My master’s thesis was in the area of usable security, specifically on the relationship between usability and biometric authentication in mobile phones. Usable security is so important, yet not often considered. Security that is not usable will be rendered useless and worked around; security should be usable and “just work". I have also become interested in Behavioral Design and how we can nudge people to change their behavior for the better, and especially on how to implement this within responsible gambling and helping people go from pre-contemplation to either contemplation or straight to action. Thus have I been taking several courses on the subject (as well as reading a lot!).

Please check out my LinkedIn to see more about what courses I have certifications in and more about my specific skills.

"Design is in everything we make, but it's also between those things. It's a mix of craft, science, storytelling, propaganda, and philosophy." - Erik Adigard.
